-It was warm, dark and tight. Veronica woke up but she couldn’t move, couldn’t see. Her head was spinning and she seemed to have something in her mouth. She tried to expel it but whatever it was seemed stuck in place. She tried to call for help.
-Mmmphffff!
Trying to move her arms wasn’t an option either, they appeared to be locked in place. Have I been kidnapped like in the movies she wondered. Trying to move the legs confirmed her suspicion, they were tied as well. She took a deep breath through the gag and tried to calm down. Was she in a box of some kind? She tried to shift to the side but the box didn’t allow for any movement. On the bright side she thought, there weren't any sounds from the outside so her kidnappers must not be close by. Then she wondered why they decided to leave her in a box. She didn’t consider herself to be strong or dangerous in any stretch of the imagination so why the added security? This seemed overkill. Minutes turned to hours or so she thought. Time feels different when in a black box and with your senses taken away from you she found out. But she was getting worried. All attempts to free herself from the predicament had only made her more tired. Keep calm, she thought. Sooner or later the bastards are going to show themselves and by then I’ll give them an earful! After one last desperate try.
-MMMMPHFFF!!
The storeroom got silent once more. From the outside if she could see, was a camera overlooking the box, situated in a big empty room. It was a pitch black box, the size of a human, all alone in what looked like a warehouse.

On the monitor Elizabeth could see the box, and the vital signs showed all green.
-I can’t believe we need to wait! Clearly upset about something she turned her attention to the phone.
-Why hasn’t he called yet? What could take so long? She spun around in her chair then stopped and looked angrily at the phone.
-Have you any idea what needs to be done to make this happen?! Do you??
The phone didn’t reply and the computer just hummed, maybe they were in cahoots? She looked at the screen again and saw no change.
-Listen here, I have other things to do than to babysit a package. Important things!
Maybe the phone agreed with her, she had a hard time telling as it wasn’t showing any signs of life.
-So maybe one of those things isn't that important, but it’s important to me, ME! She feigned tears.
At this point she figured the phone had chosen to ignore her. The nerve! She moved closer to the phone.
-I know you can hear me so don’t pretend that you can't!
She leaned back once more and looked up to the ceiling. Steel beams making sure the roof didn’t collapse.
The phone and the computer seemed to have made a pact against her. She was sure of it. The monitor flickered.
-hm, that’s odd. She regained her posture and checked the monitor more closely.
-A power surge? She brought the command console up and started typing commands. Everything seemed normal. She checked the link and connections, all fine there as well.
-What do you think? A clever use of tactics or just a random occurrence?
Neither the phone or the computer answered.
-Maybe I should close the connection after all, it’s not like I need it anyways.
Moments passed and she made her decision. She disconnected the computer from the network.
-Better to be safe than sorry and I wouldn’t want to be in my shoes if the package was lost.
She stepped out of the chair and stretched her arms up. She proceeded to walk to the small room where the coffee machine was.
-A few more hours of this and I’ll go stir crazy. The next time she takes on an assignment like this she’d politely decline. Moments later and a cup filled with coffee she felt she could take on the boredom of the office again. But when she came back she was met with a prompt on the screen, it read, “Better luck next time”.
-No! No, no, no, no!
She rushed to the screen and it showed an empty room.
-I blame you Mr phone!
The phone used silence in its defence.
-Not fair! She started to cry.

The box was moving but Veronica had fallen asleep and was unaware of what was going on. In the driver seat of the truck, a woman dressed in shades of green could be seen.
-I got you, don’t worry, you’ll be safe with us.
In the passenger seat a teddy bear and a potted plant was secured by the seat belt.
-Everything will be alright! She looked back in the mirror to confirm she wasn’t followed.
-Good news team! We managed to rescue another one!
She had the biggest smile on her face as she continued to drive.
-It’ll take them ages to find us, don’t worry. She slowed down and parked on the sideway.
Adrenaline was high but she didn’t care, she had managed something amazing. She double checked the bear and the plant was safe before stepping out of the truck.
-Phew! We should be far away for now. Let’s go rescue our maiden!
Skipping on the side of the truck all the way to the end she stopped. The doors swung open and she climbed up to the box.
-Hello pretty~ let’s see about these locks. One by one she opened them with ease and then braced to open the lid. Inside it was a human, female. In what looked like heavy duty bondage gear.
-Oh my, why did they go through the trouble of securing you this much dear? hm, you seem to be sleeping? Wakey wakey. She gently rocked the woman but no response.
-How about I untie you first? Would you like that? She didn’t wait for an answer and proceeded with freeing the captive.
-Well aren’t you beautiful? It would help if you could wake up now. Most of the gear had been removed when she noticed.
-Oh, those evil!
A metal band followed the woman's waist and she knew what it was,
-It seems I was too late. I’m sorry, but at least you didn’t end up at that place. But now she was worried. If she had that device on her it meant that they could track them down.
-I’m really, really sorry. But this is all I can do for you. She removed the last piece of bondage and moved away.
-I’ll come back when I can remove it, I promise! And she ran to the front of the truck , gathered the team and hurried off to safety.

When Veronica woke she immediately noticed that she wasn’t restrained anymore. She pulled herself up and was greeted with the strange view, apparently she was in a black box, sitting in what looked like the back of a transport truck, the doors were open and she could see the road. She started to hutter as the cold air seeped into the compartment. She had the clothes from the morning accident which wasn’t the ideal for being out in the cold. Cars drove by rather sporadically as she made an attempt to stand up. She noticed that she was wearing her white socks.
-Great, just great.
Another thing she found was a strange metal belt around her hip and something going in and between her legs.
-What the? She felt it with her hand and tried to look for a way to remove it but there were no visible locks.
-How in the hekk did they manage to put this on me?!
A silent vibration startled her and soon she was nearing the greatest edge of her life.
-HOLY FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Veronica passed out after 35 min of pure ecstasy.
And the backend of the truck went silent again..
